I am wanting to build a budget gaming pc for around $700 including a desk, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The desk I want is $78 including shipping but I am willing to go with any keyboard and mouse as long as it is not only red LEDs full RGB and blue LEDs are fine.
Here's the Hardware:
CPU: Intel Pentium g4560
Motherboard: MSI - Z170A PC MATE LGA1151
RAM: G.Skill - NT Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400
GPU: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB OC Edition Video Card
SSD: Western Digital - Green 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
HDD: 1TB HITACHI 7200 RPM
Case: Deepcool D-Shield
PSU: SeaSonic - FOCUS Gold 550 Watt ATX

I am planning to upgrade in the future to a better CPU unless somehow there is a better CPU on the market that will fit in my budget. That is why I have a z series motherboard but I was wondering if overclocking is worth as it can wear down your parts faster. So I was also wondering if I should even get an overclockable motherboard. I am open to any suggestions although I do not want to go with an AMD FX as there is no longer support as the AM4 platform is going to be supported until 2020 or so.

I am wanting to build a budget gaming pc for around $700 including a desk, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
here is my solution and I think it is a better choice than the one you suggested in your original message because that hardware is 2 gen back. below include your 78$ desk, and a proper recent hardware listing. Also found the keyboard in the top 3 llisted in this review of keyboards + mouse combos and it fitted the budget.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($94.00 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI - B350M PRO-VD PLUS Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($59.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Team - Elite Plus 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400...
That's as dead platform as FX is but if you want to stick with it, that processor needs every last Hz you can get out of it as well as any other compatible processor you can stick in it.
Z170 is for 6th Intel generation and they are already at 8th gen.
