Normally, the GTX 760 would have the edge. But if you've found a 1.5GB version of the GTX 760, the 2GB HD-5970 might make them more equal in games that can use the extra VRAM.

It's OEM version of GTX760 with 192 bit memory interface (that's why it has 1.5GB of VRAM. Between 760 and 5970 the former would be a better choice. 5970 is a dual GPU so in reality the card is only have 1GB VRAM. Another major issue with 5970 is driver. AMD already drop driver suppory since mid 2016. On more recent games the performamce should only equal to 5850 1GB. So GTX 760 will be better in performance.
