New Hard drive not displayed

I just got a new 4TB hard drive from western digital but for some reason i can't access it when im on my pc. I checked the bios and it is detected there and on my device manager.

Brand new internal hard drives have to be partitioned & formatted before they can be used - - - it doesn't have any drive letters yet, that's why you can't see it in Windows Explorer.

Go into Disk Management & prepare the drive for using.
