I changed my cpu to an i3 but due to my laxness i forgot to check my mobos specs which is hm70 and can only support some celerons or pentiums. At first the i3 worked but then here comes the 30min shutdown timer so this is where i checked the compatibility of my mobo and the cpu, so i put back my old cpu and tested it, i left my laptop for about an hour or more but didn't shut down, but now that I am actually using it (watching some stuff on youtube and it just turned off.
are there cases like this before? even when putting back the stock cpu, the 30minute killer is still there.
