I live in the UK and that's my list so far.
My budget is £1000 but I can go up a little bit.
I'm planning to use this PC for moderate gaming (CS:GO, TF2, PUBG), coding in Visual Studios, streaming (twice a week), occasional video editing and occasional photoshop.

Think I'm ready to go, never built before so not so confident as to which are good brands.

Any issues you guys see?
Also any chance to make this build cheaper since it is slightly above my budget?
Should I downgrade the i7 to a i5 since I already have a pretty good GPU?
Does the PSU provide enough power or is it providing too much?
Is the motherboard good enough? Will the USB ports on the motherboard fit with the case?
I don't want to upgrade for the next 2 years except from the RAM sticks.
Not looking for fancy RGBs but I don't mind them.

Sorry for so many questions but I'm new to this scene.
Thanks in advance!

You should consider dropping the i7 for the i5 if you're trying to save money. There isn't THAT much of a difference between the two. For your motherboard MSI is killing the game right now, so I would get an MSI mobo and card combo. Get yourself a Corsair PSU and up your ram to 16GB since most games nowadays use 6-12. Consider getting a case that has room for expansion in the future, as you're going to need to always add some new updated stuff in there when the time comes.

Your parts that you have picked are really good, but if you want to save some more money consider your options :)

Optimized your build for 1080p/60hzs...

Hey thanks for the reply,
I am planning to upgrade my RAM to 16GB and add a SSD in the future. Also upgrading to a 1080ti when the time comes.
I think that the current case is big enough? I'm not looking at any water cooling and all that extreme stuff.

Should I go with Intel Core i5-7500 with stock fan to save some money?
Any MSI ATX mobos you recommend?

Get yourself an 8th gen i5, you won't need to upgrade for a fat minute.

For the mobo I found myself looking at this one as it has everything that you need if you're not going extreme with your gaming build:

Here's the processor to pair it with:

As far as the case is concerned you should be good room wise, if you're concerned about room you could always get the case I have:

Hey,
Never paid attention to the 8th gen but looks like I might get the i5 instead.
But I have a concern, on the link you sent me, one of the cons of i5-8400 is 'Needs a new mobo'. Does that mean most motherboards isn't compatible with i5-8400?

Unfortunately yea, most of em are not supporting them since they only were built to run the 7th gen, but a good majority do.

Currently all z370 boards are compatible with that chip. The b360/h370/etc boards are about to launch later on. I think you have misinterpret that.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean.
I'll be using the PC for moderate gaming when I'm free, which is about a few hours every day.
I don't care about RGBs and all the fancy colors for my build. In fact, the case I chose doesn't have a side window so I can't show it off even if I want to.
