So i own this game since release, i never had problems with that game but since DLC chronicles was released my CPU usage is getting to 100% and the game is unplayable, i getting so big FPS drops due 100% random CPU load in this game..

My specs:
MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G
CRUCIAL 16GB (kit 4x 4GB) Ballistix Sport 1600MHz CL9
Intel Core i5-3570K (Overclocked to 4.6Ghz)
PSU - enermax triathlor 550w
Monitor resolution - 2560x1440 144Hz with G-sync

So first of all, when BO3 came out i played that game on High/Ultra on gtx 770 with 1080p monitor.

But then after few years, its became unplayable due to so high CPU load (tried it with gtx 770 / gtx 1080 and both monitors 1440p and 1080p but same outcome).

I play only Zombie mod, i own all DLC's so i dont have installed Campain and MP(played lot of MP after release but it became boring so i uinstaled it). Evrything was rly smooth, but now its unplayable...

What i tried- all settings, i checked integrity files, i tried reinstall it, reinstalled windows, edditing config....

Games like Wolfenstein new collosus, PUBG, AC:eek:rigins i can run them without problem...

Can anyone help ?

i doubt it's the ram. If there was a ram issue, it would most likely crash/BSOD. You can test that with memtest86+. Just make a bootable USB and stick memtest on it. Then run it from the boot menu or bios. Just be sure.

Chances are there may be just certain gaming scenarios where your venerable CPU is reaching it's max.
are you streaming whilst playing? Only thing I can think of that might impact like that in your scenario. You have plenty of ram, so you shouldn't be hitting anywhere near 16gb usage.

Your CPU is on the light side for me a little, although not for that game, and is good enough to power the 1080, but in more demanding games, your CPU will hold you back a little. But like i said is sufficient for that game.

Run something like HWmon/Info and look at your temps, usage, voltage etc. Post a screenie here and we can have a look if there is anything going on in the backround, like CPU/GPU over heating or throttling.

edit: you could also use MSI afterburner and set up the OSD to display CPU usage, temp and clockspeed - and GPU usage, temps and clocks. This will enable you to take a screenshot in game, and display some details relative to what you're talking about as it happens.

Check task manager, and look at any back round tasks that may be hogging some resources. Chrome can hog some CPU cycles, along with 1gb of system ram for just a few open tabs. So try closing everything before gaming, and see if that effects the CPU usage.

What kind of drops are you getting? Like a few FPS here and there or going from 100FPS to 20 or 30?

Yeah i know, i was getting Bottleneck when i was playing on 1080p with gtx1080.

Temps are OK, was checking it in AIDA64, was running Prime95 stress test after i OC'ed CPU like 1year ago (Core Voltage is set on 1.28V).

And in task manager only black ops 3 is taking 100% CPU (its like spikes its on 80CPU usage then it jump on 100% and i get Lag spike (FPS drop to 10FPS+- )

I actually added extended RAM like 1-2years ago from 8GB, do u think it might be it ? cuz i have lot of RAM ?
