Putting togheter my 1st ever pc,want opinions and want to know if its going to work

GPU:Gigabyte GTX 1050 2GB GDDR5
Ram:8GB HyperX DDR4 @2400Mhz
CPU:i5-7400 3Ghz Quad core
PS:EVGA 430 W1
HDD:Western Digital CAVIAR 1TB 7200Rpm

If i buy these parts then will everything work? Im looking to play games like CS GO,Fortnite and GTA 5 Smoothly,I know some of you are probably recommend GTX 1050 TI but its out of my budget (550Eur)

The H110 motherboard will probably need a BIOS update to use that processor and the W1 power supply is very low quality.

I'm aware that i have to update the motherboards bios to atleast 20F to get the CPU to work but when do i have to upgrade the bios? Boot up,download the bios upgrade and then upgrade it and then download the drivers?

The BIOS needs to be update to work with that CPU at all. You won't be able to boot up to BIOS if it isn't Kaby Lake ready.

If it isn't you'd need to find a skylake CPU put that in to boot up and perform the BIOS update before the you'd be able to use the Kaby Lake CPU.
