Please Help with Ryzen 5 2400G Problem

Alright so it's been a week since I built my new Ryzen 5 2400G build, I made this build knowing that the APU would run games and it'd be a nice upgrade from a bad laptop. The problem I have run into is that after installing windows i directly installed chrome, then fortnite and Minecraft because those are my 2 favorite games, for fortnite it says i need Dx11 Level 10 which idk how to fix because Ryzen 5 2400G already comes with Dx12. and for minecraft it gives me the problem saying The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Pixel format not accelerated. I haven't installed any drivers because i don't know what to install and why i need to install them, if someone can help me with this ASAP that'd be nice. Because I really want to start running games on this pc.

There is a driver to install for your Ryzen 5 2400G Vega 11 graphics - https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-5-processors-radeon-vega-graphics/amd-ryzen-5-2400g

Also, the APU/GPU itself does not come with DirectX, but can support DirectX. DirectX is software you must install. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

I'll be honest and say I don't know if the driver comes with DirectX or not. I know I've had to install it before I could play certain games on a new system.

*Edit: I think maybe you have to download the older DirectX 9.0 (what I linked above) for certain games that do not use the newer versions.

Alright I installed drivers, and you linked Dx 9, and Fortnite requires Dx11 level 10, how do i downgrade from Dx12 to that. because idk why its not working with dx12

I don't know if this will help, but some games may need to detect the full 2gb of vram on your graphics solution. With the 2200 and 2400g, you can allow the system to allocate ram as needed, but this won't work with those games.

So go into the motherboard bios and manually set your computer to use 2gb ram for graphics. This of course means your system won't be able to use those 2gb for anything except graphics.

MOBO: ASrock A320M-DVS R3.0
BIOS: Latest (Agesa 6)
CPU: Ryzen 5 2400G
RAM: 1x4Gb 2400Mhz CL17 + 1x8Gb 2666Mhz CL19 (8Gb stick in slot 2)
Display adapter: D-Sub (VGA) (1366x768 monitor)

If You are not updated BIOS, You MUST install the pre-update drivers "Allin1(v18.10.20_NHDA" - (my motherboard - ASrock A320M-DVS R3.0)

READ THIS FIRST ! Worked for me, I'm not guaranteed that it will work for everyone. This worked for me and I wasted about 8 hours looking for solutions when it was the Before-BIOS update drivers that fixed the problem. Next problem was incorrect resolutions, fixed it with unplugging cable from monitor and PC and connecting back. (Used old cable which came with monitor).
If the latest drivers keep crashing, go to Safe Mode with Networking and run "amdcleanuputility-x64"
Then go back in to Windows 10 and install pre-BIOS UPDATE drivers. ((Allin1(v18.10.20_NHDA) for me, depends on motherboard.) Latest motherboard drivers I use right now "AllIn1(v19.10.08_19H1_WHQL)"
Latest AMD SOFTWARE installed "win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-2019-edition-19.5.2-june3"


Before BIOS Update install recommended motherboard drivers. (If BIOS already updated, download recent drivers needed before the BIOS update).
Check RAM compatibility (Should be good if using Dual channel with same timing in BIOS (4gb 2400Mhz and 4gb 2400mhz for example).
Check display resolutions ( I had a problem with incorrect resolutions, original monitor cable worked. Could be a case when re-connecting monitor to display (in my case D-Sub) will actually fix the problem.
If RAM is OK(frequency and compatibility), BIOS updated with recommended drivers before update, try to install latest drivers.
