Hello. I am going to begin to enter the world of sim racing and I want a nice setup.

The PC will have a black/White consistent theme.

How can I make this cheaper or better? Any feedback or suggestions?

I want to use triple monitors for Forza Motorsport 7 and Horizon 3, and Oculus Rift for the other games such as Project CARS 2, Assetto Corsa, and DiRT Rally

I'd switch it up to a i7-8700k and a z370 motherboard. 6 cores 12 threads and newer architecture vs. 4 cores 8 threads. A lot more longevity and not much more $$. Definitely a 1080ti like you have there. Unless you plan to add a 2nd 1080ti (I wouldn't recommend it) you can use a quality 650w PSU no problem. That's a lot of RAM for a gaming build. Assuming it's just a gaming rig then you could do just fine with 2 x 8gb (and certainly add more later if needed when the prices relax). I wouldn't use Arctic Silver anymore - kryonaut has better performance: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4YU4GP8295&cm_re=thermal_grizzly_kryonaut-_-9SIA4YU4GP8295-_-Product

EDIT: Also, the sound card is not necessary unless you are an audiophile, but you probably already know that ;)

This covers almost everything.

NVIDIA new lineup is launching soon get two GPUs for SLI. 3x 1080p needs SLI for better performance.

That 4th 1440p monitor is for general gaming out of the simulator.

The headphones I provided are perfect and best for natural sound output which no gaming headset can provide. If you want microphone get it separately.

Motherboard comes with WiFi so no need of extra adapter.

I provided two keyboard options one is wired and other is wireless. Choose the one which is more comfortable to handle while switching between desk and simulator.

You still have enough budget left to get two GPUs for SLI even if they are priced $800 each.
