Which GPU would be better?

If both cards are about the same price, which would be better for me?

I have freesync, which is the only reason i'm considering the RX 580. It really bothers me that it's only 4gb VRAM though, as i'm trying to future proof as best I can with the budget I have.

Sapphire RX 580 4 gb
Gigabyte GTX 1060 6 gb

the 1060 does extremely well and sometimes even better than the 580 . The rx 580 would do better in Dx12 games . So I'd say unless you can get the 580 8gb version then just go for the 1060 6gb . That's my opinion .
