Not happy. My 5 Series Intel MB is way quicker than my two brand new laptops, so this is sad that I have to throw it away. Provide your disgust to Intel here:

Why are you going to throw it away.
That has been around for a long time has it ever caused you any problem?

It runs perfectly fine but I am not going to run something that has a security vulnerability. I see Intel's point of not supporting older products, but just from a customer loyalty standpoint after such a blunder, you would think they would offer some good will. How many customers will they lose to AMD and maybe ARM in the future is hard to say.

Anytime you connect your PC to the net you have security vulnerability.
You have used it for how many years with no problems?
I'm not even going to put the patch on mine.
