Hello,

So here's my problem:
I bought a motherboard Gigabyte HD3 Z370, installed all possible drivers for realtek (Latest, From disc, From Gigabyte's site). At first PC had a sound, but after reinstalling windows I can't get it to work. I've checked and tried everything in sound management and in realtek's control panel but with no luck. If anyone of you has this motherboard, or knows anything about situation please help a dear friend.

what is the default device - right click the speaker icon, click playback devices , make sure the right device has the green checkmark. often its speakers OR headphone and you don't have the right one checked off.

Yes, I have tried it many times. No luck.

In sound options, are all hidden devices shown, did you install HDMI Audio driver from GPU?
If you play song in sound options does it oscilate the green thing?
Well it could be windows, you said that you reinstalled windows, did you total clean reinstalation or just refreshed?

After you installed windows was there no sound when you booted or after you installed something?

I believe this is software/driver conflict.

Yes GPU installed all of it's drivers. No I did a clean install of Windows, but on boot there was no sound. I even tried to install Ubuntu but still with no luck. I showed hidden devices but my speakers were shown already and set as a default device. I tried to uninstall of the other drivers and leave only Realtek one, but no sound coming. If I do play any sound, it does escalate the green level of sound (green thing).

I would better just RMA motherboard. That would be easier and less of a pain for me.
