So I've been doing some research with solar power and possible do it in the upcoming years. But what I'm wondering - which I cannot find on the internet - What's the benefits and/or differences between getting solar energy from companies vs getting solar store, such as Home Depot and the like?

I mean it seems that if it's from a store like Home Depot it looks like it would be off the grid, whereas the companies, you're on the grid.

Anyone know what the pros and cons are, and/ just info in general when it comes to getting solar from stores (not companies, there's enough info out there on that)?

I'm by far no expert but I think the point of going through a company would be specialized experience, they should be basically one stop stopping. If your talking about going to Home depot at best they are just going to subcontract the installation setup anyway. As far as totally off the grid that would really depend on your setup as far how power your a consuming vs how much your able get from your panel setup.
