I've had this pc for just over a year now, however when i turned it on this morning I noticed the fans on my cpu cooler which is a Corsair H100 v2 were running really loud and the logo which has always been white turn red. Checking my cpu temperatures they were roughly 100 degrees so I quickly shut it down. When i turned it on to check the temperatures there was also a creaking sound from the fans.
I'm not quite sure whats the problem and will pull it off and put it back.

Sounds like a dead pump, it will stay cool for a bit but then temps will skyrocket, the fans are running fast due to thermal throttling, causing the CPU speed to drop and the system fans to ramp up to close to or max speed, don't worry too much if the temps get too high it will automatically shut off, though your gonna need to get a new cooler.
