My computer has slowed down significantly, but my internet is totally fine. What's wrong?

My download speed is at 47 mbps and upload is at 17 mbps. Those numbers seem great, and my computer was running lightning fast since I built it last month, but now it's slowing down as the days go by. Videos i record are rendering slower and slower, and web pages take a little longer to load. Is there something wrong with my hardware? My motherboard is at 37 celsius. Is that too high?

Could you post the specs of your build? And no the motherboard temp is perfectly normal.

Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix z370-i Gaming
CPU: 8th gen Intel i-5
SSD: Samsung Evo 960 m.2
GPU: Radeon r7 240

And im sure the rest is irrelevant. So the worst thing I have is definitely the GPU, but i dont think it would be a reason the computer is slow.

Is it an i5 8600k? If so have you overclocked it recently? Either way monitor your cpu temperatures and voltage under load with cpu-z, and tell me the results. Also what cpu cooler are you using?

I think my cpu is i5-8400. No I havent overclocked it. Temperature is usually around 36 C, so its fine. Voltage is at 0.656 and i dont know if thats too low or not. Im using the intel stock fan. I do have a hyper 212, but was too lazy to install it. The stock fan seems to be working. Core Speed is floating around 802 MHz. Maybe thats too slow?

That's definitely too slow. Voltage is very low as well. Go into your bios and see what it's clocked at. I don't know how non-k processors work but see if you can change it to default settings.

But maybe that's the core speed for each individual core? So multiply that by 5 and that would mean its around 4 GHz. Does that seem right?

Each individual core should be running at full speed. When a CPU is listed to operate at 3GHz for example, it will run at that speed on all cores.
