These are not good time for buying. The 2400G would not make such a "whoohoo" if prices for GPUs were "normal".
The memory prices are awe-inspiring, and yes, therefore the price is a problem. Taking the 2200G is not an option, as even though it's potential is good in itself, it is NOT a good choice for later GPU-upgrades.
Still, if you buy 16 fast GB of RAM, it is not wasted, and a good, futureproof investion. I would not dare to say this about the 1050, or the RX 560, as it is only the1060 that is fairly futureproof for FullHDv (regarding speed, but also gerading the amount of VRam).
I do not envy you...
