Hey, my pc recently stopped outputting video whenever I have my 1050 Ti in it. It works when I put another/no graphics card in. Usually if this happened I would just assume the gpu was broken and needed replacing, but the thing is, the gpu is only 10 days old and hasn't had any problems up until now. So I'm really doubtfull of it being the gpu thats causing the issue. I'm thinking theres a pretty good chance that it's the psu thats the issue. It's a corsair CX430M that's 3 years old now. Is there any way i can find what the issue is?

Solution
Try the 1050 in another system (but check the PSU is adequate of course).

If 1050 doesn't work in other system either, it's definitely faulty.

In any case I doubt it's your PSU since:

1) 1050 used to work fine with that same PSU, - - and crucially,

2) Other graphics cards still work fine with that same PSU.

(If your PSU had become faulty I would expect it not to work at all -- it wouldn't suddenly produce less power --- not in my experience.)

So try your 1050 in another system which has an adequate PSU.

it could depend on what video output you are using, if it is hdmi to vga for example, it might not be supported by the graphics card. usually modern gpu's always support hdmi to hdmi.
