So i bought a used pc from a friend in working condition was going to replace the cpu in the system but changed my mind
I put the system back together and tried to boot it and got a dead ram error from the beep long beeps so i took one of the sticks of ram out of the system and tried to boot it didnt post fans spun i kept trying for a post beep and got a dead ram beep and the ram started smoking i pulled the power
I took the pc apart and found two lga pins were crossed so I bent one of the pins back into place is the mobo salvageable?
asrock - z170a-x1/3.1 mobo
It had 8gigs of crusial ddr4 (both sticks are dead)
I5 - 6600 cpu
Gtx - 1060
500 watt psu
