So for the past two and a half hours I've been trying to get my audio drivers to work. I updated my drivers a few days ago while i was using the PC and had the "realtek" drivers installed, and it was a SUBSTANTIAL boost in quality. however since I"ve restarted my PC they no longer worked... To where the system claims in troubleshooting that they are disabled (when they were NOT disabled) i manually went through everything to update them, check them, RE-check them, and resetting after changes to see if i could get them to freaking work with no prevail.
So i uninstalled the drivers and went back to my default ones that ALWAYS worked in safemode (i have the black startup screen when i boot regularly, I've tried fixed in the past and for a short while it was working). I've also checked driver keys and used regedit to make sure that they are still within the systems safemode startup (if that's the proper way to put it), and they are in fact... all. still. there. I then checked the sound panel (again) and made absolutely sure that the device was up to date and to reassure myself that they are still enabled (WHEN THE SYSTEM SAYS IT IS NOT!), and it is indeed enabled and up to date.
And after searching throughout several forums and sites for an hour and a half and they are all having the same answers to the problem, or are not the same type of problem where they are able to be fixed by updates. I'm beginning to get really freaking salty with my computer.
