I'm building my new PC with a Maximus X Hero motherboard. I have a total of 6 fans i'm using for the PC three in the front used for an intake that came with the case and 2 for the radiator on my AIO cooler and 1 for an exhaust in the back. I guess my question is do I have enough fan headers on my motherboard? The spec sheet is confusing there are multiple things listed with the word fan in it.

Here is a link to the specs (Internal I/O Ports section shows the fan connectors): Mobo Specs

I'll also post the specs below:

OK. With the H100i v2, you should install that on the CPU_FAN header (to prevent a CPU Fan speed warning). From there, the fans on the cooler will be connected to the cooler.

Just make sure to put the CPU Fan header to 100%/Full Speed. On the Asus boards, disabling Q-Fan control will do this. And take care if you install AiSuite to make sure that AiSuite doesn't override it.
If you go to the manual page 1-19, you will see more info for the fan headers. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-X-HERO/HelpDesk_Manual/

You should have enough headers for the 6 fans.
cpu_fan, cpu-opt, aio_pump for 2 fans from your aio cooler.
cha_fan #1-3, and the H_amp for your other 3 fans + one rear fan. keep in mind the H_amp fan header can out put 3Amp, if you want to add more fans, you can buy a Fan Splitter Cable, like this https://www.ekwb.com/shop/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/1600x/040ec09b1e35df139433887a97daa66f/f/i/file_132_18.jpg

You've got plenty of headers. The AIO_PUMP header is a normal fan header that's just set to full power/100% by default. You can enable Q-Fan control for that header to use it like any other fan header.

Note that the CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT fans are not independently controllable; CPU_OPT will "follow" CPU_FAN.

What AIO are you planning on using?

I have a corsair h100i v2 AIO i'm using 2 of the LL120 from corsair RGB fans for it though. 3 of the 6 fans are RGB not that that matters for the fan headers.
