my brand new graphic card is not displaying

hello guys i bought gtx 1050 2gb but its not displaying any thing when i plug my VGA cable through DVI D MALE to VGA FEMALE ADAPTER then its not displaying anything but when i plug my VGA to motherboard then it says UNSUPPORTED VIDEO CONFIGURATION DETECTED, while this i cant even go to BIOS SETTINGS i cant install drivers of this card because drivers are saying card has to be plugged while intalling drivers for this, tried RESET BIOS, UPDATED BIOS but it didnt help for me please help. and YEAH My MOTHERBOARD is blinking, tried change PSU to new PSU but it is blinking, blinks like light of motherboard sometime goes to dim lights sometimes it goes to high lights hope you guys can understand my english. but sometimes it automatically off.

Dell Optiplex 3010MT

Core i3 3220 3.3ghz
6Gb Ram ddr3 1600mhz
GTX 1050 2gb
My Motherboard: Dell Inc. 042P49
Windows 7 64bit
Antec 500w 80+ bronze

The dell optiplex has an issue with power limitations! there were several videos/forum topics on gtx 1000 series not supporting on dell optiplex. So it may require an external PSU & PCI adapter.

thanks for reply sir, yes, when i boot my pc, GPU's FAN start spins but for only for 5 to 7 seconds after that they stop spinning. no my MOTHORBOARD is not emitting any sound.

i tried my VGA cable with 2 adapters but same problem came, tried DVI D adapter to VGA and HDMI to VGA but it doesnt work also tried to connect it with my LED by HDMI cable but it also doesnt work for me.
