In gta 5 my graphics card runs between 35-50% usage while my CPU is almost always maxed out at 100%. I also experience this in other games aswell. My gpu usage goes up to 70% when there isn't much happening in the game and my CPU usage goes down a bit by 10% at best.
Would overclocking the CPU to something like 4.5 ghz help provide a noticeable or even significant difference in the CPU and GPU usage? Would it be enough or is it time to upgrade my CPU? I would rather not because there aren't many options for upgrading on the 1150 socket.
Or am I completely wrong about it being a bottlenecking issue and is it something else?
