Hello, I've searched all over for a solution but can't find one. This is my first PC build and I cannot get the hard drive to detect. I can't find it in BIOS, and I have tried installing windows and it did not detect it, I'm also currently booting off of a Ubuntu disc and it is not detectable that way either. I have tried different SATA cables, and it does spin up. Any more ideas?? I'm stumped

Unfortunately if you are sure your HDD I well plugged and its not detectable even in bios then it's very probably just dead, you can try it in another pc but I guess it won't change anything
