Hi, first of all im taking my time to thank all of you who made this forum what is, all of those guys that put their effort on finding solution to complete stranger's problems.
That aside, im bringing you a new problem.
So my network consist of a router and a powerline extender. Both work with the same SSID different channel (i believe that's for the best since they might overlap and interfere). Internet works like a charm, im getting from the 100mbps almost 20 on the extender which is okay. Now I've configured the printer with a laptop connected to the extender SSID lets call it #2, I've also assigned an IP to the printer, XXX.190.
Soooooo............ the printer seems to only connect to the router SSID, which has a really poor fair, therefore loses packages, lags when printer, and loses connection. I can't understand why it wont connect to the SSID#2, where the signal is way better, even internet rate is way better (i know this because whenever i print a network info page, it shows the channel of the router and not the extender).
Thank you in advanced, im willing to try anything you guys throw at me, anything but replacing hardware. Since it used to work when a TI acquaintance set up up a year ago, but then isp was changed.
oh fyi, i can print it just lags, i can ping, it loses packages and sometimes connectivity altogether.

The issue was fixed by installing and configuring the printer while having disabled the first ssid. Installing the printer on the repeater's ssid made the printer connect by default to it.
