Does an all in one liquid cooler create its own cooling ecosystem? Should I get the Masterliquid 120 RGB or Corsair h80i?

Hi,

So I have a ryzen 1700x based system using a hyper 212, however because of bad bracket implementation on the board im using, the hyper 212 pulls in air from the GPU and pushes it out from top of the case causing bad thermals.

I have 2 intake fans on the front and nothing else

If i install a liquid cooler will it allow for the cpu to have its seperate cooling ecosystem?

If yes which one will be better for me the Masterliquid 120 RGB(69 USD) or the Corsair H80i (127 USD)

The prices are an approx conversion to usd from my currency (rupees)

Please do consider the price difference while giving an input

Yes and no.

Like your current system it's all about how you set it up.
In most cases, the radiator can be installed as an:
-Intake. CPU gets cool air, but the rest of the system gets a warmer intake
-Exhaust. Warm air exiting the system is used to cool the rad.

3rd option, what I used to have, was an entirely externally mounted rad. This pulls in cool air and vents it outside the system away from anything.

For the price of those jokes, you can get a decent air cooler that will get you lower temps and much lower noise.

Even with liquid or full watercooling, you still have to have good airflow through the radiator and external to the case. You cannot simply have a radiator in a closed box and expect it to cool.
