Which Configuration Would Be Better For Gaming

From my understanding its better to have an average CPU and a better GPU vs an average GPU and a better CPU for gaming. But in this case because the GPUS are really similar I can't decide which configuration to choose. I would really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction between these 2 configurations and educate me in the process if you may. Note that these are laptop configurations and not beast ones either. I just need an average build to do moderate gaming and school work. Now the Dell looks like the overall better computer because of the ram, hard drive and processor, but if I'm not mistaken the difference in ram is not going to affect the gameplay. And I really don't know if a pure ssd is better than a hybrid drive. Then again I'm not sure if the $100 difference is worth it, and if the TI version of the GPU is a game changer or not. Please help and thank you.

In my opinions, your number 1 choice, Dell Inspiron 15. These could go either way.
