[SOLVED] How can i add a password on my printer for all devices in my network so that not everyone in my network can print without code

I need help to putting a code to where anyone that prints from a iphone or a computer in my network there will be a prompt for a password? or at least how can I restrict a user? I have a mac, and my printer is hp officejet pro 6978.

You need to have your network administrator set up a password key prompt on the network for that printer for anyone to access it. There is nothing you can change on the printer itself for controlling access by users.
