Need help with rgb fan

I have a rgb fan in my pc but my motherboard doest have a rgb header so i was wondering if i could use a rgb led strip controller to control rgb features of my fan and my fan is being powered by a molex connector but there is no 4 pin rgb header on my mobo to power and use the rgb features of the fan.

Because your MB does not have a rgb header, you have to buy a rgb hub to controll the led.

but i live in india and we dont get rgb hub alone i have to get 2-3 three fans pack and that is $100+ so could i use the controller we usually get with cheap led strip.
