PC Slowing Down Need Help

When I first got my PC (bought used and upgraded it) it was working totally fine. I still use it as an everyday pc/budget gaming rig, but after a year and half of everyday usage the pc has gotten noticably slower. Things like an occasional 1+min startup time as opposed to a normal near 20sec time, hiccups in general, programs not responding for a few seconds, browsers slowing down exclusively on this rig, and "Windows has stopped working" occurs.

I haven't overclocked anything and I dont think its virus as I've full scanned my PC with 360 Security twice & registry cleaned, and then switched to Avast and scanned again. I also defragged my HDD a few times, but that's all i've done at all. Any suggested fixes I could try before I eventually give up, and reuse some of the parts to build a new PC?
