All of a sudden this Sunday my Ethernet decided to stop working. I will disconnect it and reconnect and several times and different messages like Ethernet is not connected or not valid IP configurations. Now the PC doesn't even detect the Ethernet cable along with my laptop.

I did alot of the suggestions by google and none of them worked such as the commands on cmd prompt

uninstalling and reinstalling Ethernet drivers

turning off fast start-up

I even went out and bought a BRAND NEW cable (75 FEET) which worked fine for a few minutes but then it stopped working. The BRAND NEW Ethernet cable also doesn't work on my laptop as well which is weird. Could my motherboard fried my cable? Because a much smaller cable (6 FEET) which wasn't used on the desktop works perfectly fine with the laptop.

Solution
Did you power cycle all your network equipment? Modem, router, any switches if you have them. When I power cycle I always disconnect the coax cable from the modem as well as the power and wait several minutes before plugging everything back in.
