I just got the razer man o war wired. I don't know if its because I dropped it on the carpet once, but it wasn't even a big drop. I dropped it a little over 2 feet because it slipped off my desk. I see no visible damage, I decide to play some music and I have to crank up the volume to 100 now all of a sudden to hear something. I tried my phone same thing, I don't know whats going on and why this happened.

If the headset was plugged in then the connecting cable may been pulled or stretched somewhere. Some partial break in the conducting wires.

Normally should not be problem per se but if the cable was already weak to begin with then it may not have held up to the fall.

Plug in the headset as normal and then work along the length of the cable gently twisting, pulling, wiggling, squeezing etc. Especially at the plug end and at the headset end. Take your time and go carefully.

You may find that there is some section of the wire that when manipulated will return volume to normal - albeit temporarily while you hold the cable. May or may not be fixable.
