I want to make a separate machine and utilize it as a server for VG hosting (mostly Space Engineers and Minecraft). I want a compact design since I don't have much space in my room. I also want this server to be as silient as possible since this is probably going to run 24/7 and I dont want to wake up the rest of my house :D
Based on this I have selected the following parts:

Since this is the first server PC I'm building I want to know opinions of someone with more experience than me. Is the price-to-performance okay? Is this an overkill for hosting video game servers? Will this MB fit inside that case? (they should since thy are both mATX but there might be a MB standoff where there is no hole on the motherboard). So far the only part I have is the PSU (currently inside my main rig). I also have an pentium cpu so updating the BIOS is not an issue.

It's not the first time I've build a PC (just server pc) so I dont know why you think this would be out of my league. Care to explain?
I was thinking about gameserves or other hosting services like this but I prefer to have control over what happens with the server. Also the currency of my country is weak compared to USD or EUR or GPB. There is no competive service like this in Poland.

I've made and alternative build using non-server parts and replaces stock cooler with a fanless one (http://www.raijintek.com/en/products_detail.php?ProductID=21) which should work since i3-8100 have low TDP. It is also cheaper where I live (just need to wait until RAM prices fall down).

The only issue is performance. Based on this reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/spaceengineers/comments/772zv9/space_engineer_server_specs/) Space Engineers servers are mostly single-threaded. This begs the question if lower frequency on i3-8100 will cause slowdowns once 10players (or more) will join. The Xeon cpu also have hyperthreating while the coffee lake processor does not.

I've forgot to mention my internet speed (10 megabits per second). I have two ISPs (Orange and Netia) and two routers.

I was also considering using an fanless ATX power supply such as Silverstone ST30NF or Etasis EFN-300 since they are relativley cheap but also non-modular ATX 1.3 which is kind of a deal-breaker to me.
