I have a 5.1 set and a 3.5mm stereo + mic headset. I would like to plug it all in to a sound card that works with windows 10.

At the time I have my 5.1 set plugged to my internal sound card but due to the windows 8 drivers ir only sound in stereo, so I can only use two speakers without subwooffer. On the other side my headset had a usb adapter with the integrated soundcard, but due to the closure of tritton and madcatz there are no drivers and my headset sounds mono (both sides in bouth speakers at the same time)
SO, QUESTIONS:

Would a compatible external sound card fix those compatibility problems?

And

Is out there an external soundcard that permits me plug bot things simultaneously/alternatively?

I found the creative sound blaster audigy fx (39,99$) Because is the same brand as my speakers, but I don't know if that is in a range of a expensive card haha.
