Multimode optical fiber signal compensation

Hi,

In our application we are using multimode optical fiber to send signal from PTZ camera to the video feed using sdi over fiber kit, the problem is our optical distance is longer about 100m but this module can loud only 500m for multimode fiber, is there any compensation modules available to bust the optical signal ?

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
John

Are you saying that you have too much signal? If so, there are optical attenuators that you can use. Since those use a single ST fiber I don't if an attenuator would work.

The camera you linked to is an ethernet camera, you could use standard copper to fiber ethernet adapters and use the camera as an IP camera also.
