Specs:
i3 7100 3.90 GHz
x2 4gb crucial RAM
Tooq ecopower 2 ATX power supply 600W
MSI GTX 1050ti 4gb
ASRock B250m-HDV (latest BIOS)
Windows 10 Pro

Basically I bought a 1050ti, installed it and when I boot my PC with the 1050ti plugged in I can't see anything but a black screen, I can't see BIOS, Windows loading icons, it's just a black screen.
One thing I know for sure is that windows is booted and working because if I click or spam keys, it makes sounds.
What is the proglem here?

Update: I got into my pc with Windows Remote Control, installed nvidia drivers and still doesn't work, when I go to the device manager into the nvidia gtx 1050ti it says "Code 43" and something more that the driver failed, any ideas?

When you have the card removed can you go into the bios and see if there is an option to switch from onboard to PCI-e. I had the same problem with my Radeon card, and I found out that the bios was auto selecting onboard graphics instead of the PCI-e

Sadly I already checked that, it was on PCI-E from stock settings

Hi All I am having what sounds like pretty much the same issue with my newly acquired GTX 1050Ti. Plug the GPU into the screen (at this point I have tried an HP monitor over DVI and Display Port - Also Tv via HDMI) and all I get is a blank screen which then turns off as no signal is being output.

With the Card in, I also get a blank screen if I plug any of the above inputs into the mobo directly, again over HDMI or DVI. If I remove the card then I can use the mobo socket to use the computer and output is fine. I've tried various combos of settings in the bios and updated the bios. Also made sure to uninstall old drivers (using DDU) before installing new drivers.

My system is an AMD 6800K with onboard AMD HD8000 series graphics. I've checked and the PCIE output is the default setting. If I force onboard graphics or enable igfx then I seem to be able to use the mobo hdmi port with the GPU installed - doing so has allowed me to install Nvidia drivers (both on their own and also via GeForce experience) - uninstalling them with DDU also shows me that the computer can acutally see the 1050Ti.

Out of ideas? Help!

AMD A10 6800K 4.1Ghz

Asus A88 XM Plus (latest bios)
