Specs:

  • Intel DQ45CB motherboard
Intel Q9550 CPU (with intel heatsink)
    EVGA 500w Silver PSU
WD 1TB 64MB Cache hard drive
    DUOMEIQI RAM 8GB Kit
DEEPCOOL TESSERACT BF ATX Mid Tower SGCC

This is for a friends computer. I'm not sure if the headset thing was simply a coincidence. When he was downloading Google, he plugged in his headset then suddenly the computer turned off and it wouldnt post. When you turn it on the fans spin fine and the motherboard LED's go on, however the case LED's stopped turning on. If you try and turn on the computer with the headset plugged in with both mic and audio, it doesn't do anything. The PSU passed the paper clip test and we've reset the CMOS multiple times. One thing though, in the beginning the motherboard came with bent pins so we simply bent them back. I don't know if thats the problem but idk why it would affect the case LEDs. My friend can't afford to have a defective part, so we are willing to try anything to save the computer. Thank you for taking your time to read this post.

Solution
first of all , bent pins is a ral disaster for motherboard
you need to check them again and disconec everything just leave PSU and motherboard with ram
if bios post is done means it's a half way to fortune

90% issue related to defective pins
