i'm overclocking my cpu and realised that increasing the bus speed x multiplier give me a little better performance than just multiplier. but what i don't know is if i need to mess with the ram voltages or XMP to do that.
is a minor increment (210 bus, default is 200), which gives me 1680 in 1600 RAM
would you recommend a bump in voltages or xmp for that?

corsair h45 w.cooler

Well is it stable? If it is stable at 1.5v 1680mhz then leave the voltage alone. If it is not stable then I would increase timings a bit before I increased voltage, if that doesn't work then increase voltage in very small increments. You don't want to go too far over 1.5v for ram voltage if you want the CPU's memory controller to last.

the thing is. it was stable.
it passes the IBT AVT ok, prime95, no crashes. but i noticed that while gaming, the core clocks in the cpu had some drops registered by HWMonitor. (3300, 3600 usually and more rare and extreme 1400MHz)
the thing is, it only drops big when playing csgo :s dirt rally on max, project cars, forza horizon 3, doom, All of those dropped max to 3800, and just sometimes.
Then i've decided to raise a little Vcore in CPU (0.0135~~ more) and last time I was playing csgo, it froze completelly.
So I thought that it could be it. now i'm testing with XMP on.

mobo max temp in nb 60º
cpu max temp 63º (max temp advised for amd is 70º)
cpu vcore set at 1.300 in bios, min read 1.286, max read 1.320, med 1.296 - Medium LLC

PLUS: 1 more thing is bugging me and its the possibility of a "broken" HDD. its the oldest part on my pc and it is very slow. last time that i've tried to defrag it (win10), i got a BSOD :[
