Hey everyone,

I'm unable to lift the write protection off my Sony Micro SD XC Card (SR64UY2), which is connected to my PC in the SD slot through an SD Adapter (the one that has the size of a normal SD card). I've been trying for hours to get it lifted using various proposed solutions on the internet, such as:

- unlocking the little lock on the side of the SD card;
- putting a small piece of tape (double layer) on the groove on the other side;
- cmd --> diskpart --> select disk x --> attributes disk clear readonly
- regedit --> StorageDevicePolicies (I had to make it myself) --> DWORD (32-bit) named "WriteProtect" with value "0" (also tried with a QWORD, since I have a 64-bit PC)

None of these worked. I tried putting it into another PC as well and using another adapter that I have, both to no effect. Interestingly enough, this is what I get in the command prompt when I ask for disk attributes:

Current read-only state : Yes
Read-only: No

I'd love some help on this. Anyone familiar with this issue? Thanks in advance!
