Ok I've been having this problem since the first week I build my computer back in December last year. I'll be browsing or playing a game and then I get a weird zapping sound that I hear from my headphones. It happens maybe around once per 3 hours and when it happens, My fps drops significantly and It "zaps" around for 3 seconds.

I have updated my GPU, CPU, and OS as of today, and the problem persists. If anyone has any knowledge that can help me, It would be appreciated.

Here's a video of the same problem I have. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF9Pvdsz0UM

It occurs at around 49 seconds of the video. I also get kernel error 41 task 61 on my system saying "your computer didn't shut down properly or unexpectedly".

- My components
CPU: Ryzen 3 1200 at 3.1 GHz
GPU: Nvidia 1060 3gb Evga model
Motherboard: MSI b350 Tomahawk
PSU: 450 evga watt bronze certified
RAM: 2x4 GB of Corsair Vengeance at 2133 speed (3200mhz is the advertised speed) I get black screens when gaming if i overclock this ram)

I don't think there is a universal fix for that issue. I think it's a processor priority issue. Something hogging the time for everything else. I've had that happen to my PC's a few times over the years, too. Check your Windows System and Application event logs (type event viewer in the start menu) for things reporting unexpected or critical issues. Try cleaning up/out apps you don't need. do a clean removal and reinstall of drivers (like, with the 3D Guru Display Driver Uninstaller for graphics drivers). Remove browsers, their plug-ins, codecs, media players, anything that can potentially ask for exclusive processor time (which basically means you might end up having to go through everything :( ). Check for firmware updates on all components in your PC. Check the consistency of your file system. Consider looking into removing your page file and recreating it.

I also have tried overclocking this pc once, and I would get black screens occasionally when gaming at random times so I set it back to default settings. I've tried replacing my components with a different PSU and GPU and the problems still persist. I think it could be either the Motherboard or CPU. The computer makes a weird sound randomly and I notice the fans starting to sping much faster than usual. I've tested my ram with prime95 for 4 hours and was stable and had 0 errors.
