I have had this issue for almost a week now and have been trying to solve it, I’ve been looking all over this website and I have no absolute clue on how to fix this, when I’m on my pc (even the desktop) I’ll check my temps, and they’re around 40C. I had a gtx 780 for about a year, it worked fine until one day I got home from school and heard a noise that sounded like a jet engine. I called my friend for help about it and he suggested unplugging and replugging everything in my pc, i did that and it didn’t black screen for a day, it then started to happen again so I ordered a new gpu (gtx 1060 6gb) and for another day all was well, until I was in a match of fortnite and the problem happened again. This time to confirm it was my gpu fan I removed side of my case and lightly touched both of the fans on my gpu to slow them down a little and the noise vanished until I lifted my fingers off. I have no idea what is causing this problem and I have a hard time believing the problem is actually my GPU considering it happened with my old one and my new one. I’m a little tired of this issue and would love to get it solved ASAP, any help greatly appreciated.
