Hi guys,

I was just wondering, if i'm on a private network (192.168.1.x) and set a static IP of '192.168.1.50' (for example), and then i take my device to an enterprise network of which the IP address range is '128.1.10.x', will DHCP correctly allocate my device an IP address or will the static IP remain so that i cannot communicate correctly with the new network?

Thanks.

But to answer your specific question, you won´t be able to communicate to the other pc on the network because your static ip does not belong to the same network 128.1.10.0/24 the only way they could communicate is with a NAT rule (because this...
