Would 2 AMD 7950 be a good choice in Crossfire in today's GPU Prices?

I found a good deal on eBay for 2 7950's 3GB GPU's but they're not of the same model. It's selling for $250 for both.

I was wondering if they are capable of Crossfire and since the current prices for video cards I think they are a good deal.
I'm coming from a GTX 1050 2GB.

I have a 7950. I think your current 1050 has similar performance to those cards. Better because you'll always get that performance. Those cards also use a lot of power. 200-250W depending on model. I seriously advise NOT getting them.
I would not do it. CF have its strong points and its bad points. Its faster and can really enhanced the experience, however two 7950 is not what I would recommend. Anything below two RX 580 might not be such a good idea.

I would save my money and wait for new generation. Both AMD and Nvidia are going to release their new architectures in the following year.
