Hello guys. Yesterday I installed a new PSU (EVGA 650W G3). When I wento to power up the Pc, it didn't turn on and the Psu made a click noise. I tried to disconnect components one by one and lo and behold, the computer turned on when the 6+2 pin pci socket was unplugged. Any idea if there's some more ways to test the port or, god be merciful on me for asking the impossible, fixing it?

Solution
Sounds like the newer mobo's sensors are not being read correctly. I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as things are working properly. Future updates on the monitoring apps may be more accurate.
To test you turn PC on with PCIe leads disconnected and check voltages as per that link I gave you. If everything checks out there's something wrong with that GPU, it's power connections or seating in the slot. If MB has another PCIe x16 slot try it in there.

Ok, I got the PC booted with video. There was a 8 pin plug dangling from the mobo 24 pin socket. I sae in the manual that it fit in the slot, although with a much bigger gpu than mine. I tried it and it works, now I'll check if everything is alright

EDIT: Everything seems A-Ok, GPU included. One thing is strange tho: monitoring programs show that GPU voltage is 0.001v.
