SO i have 2 500 gig drives in my rig but im getting tired of the long loads for wind 10 so imma get a crucial 250 mx500 ssd but my question is that if i get it and put the os in there can i also put steam in there for it to load all my games faster or just specifically the ones i choose to download to the ssd and if i did this could i make it boot only the games fast and the rest of the files on my hdds and one last thing is if 250 gb is enough or more is worth it?

Solution
For your new MX500, OS and all applications.
A game or two as fits.
Other things go on your HDDs.

A 250GB drive will fit maybe one or two newer games.

Of course you could put Steam on there. Ideally you would install your OS and all your applications to the SSD while storing bulk data on the hard drives, but for games, that might not be entirely practical yet from a cost perspective if you have a large library that you want to keep installed, and don't want to spend money on a huge SSD.

You can set up multiple game install folders on different drives from within the Steam client though, allowing you to install your most played games to the SSD, while keeping others on the hard drive. From in Steam, go to "Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders > Add Library Folder" to add an install directory on another drive. Then, when installing a game, pick your desired drive from the "Choose Location For Install" box. Or, if you already have the game installed on one drive, and want to move it to another, you can right-click the game in your library, and choose "Properties > Local Files > Move Install Folder" to move the game from one drive to another. Just keep in mind that it might take some minutes to complete the transfer process, depending on the performance of the slowest drive, and how large the game is.

Just to elaborate, some folders are fixed like My documents, music and photos. So creating a my documents folder manually for example on another hdd wont be the same as telling Windows to move it. Telling windows is the official way so it knows where to put files like music, photos etc.

Right click folder, click location then move. Similar way steam does it

I actually wrote this post yesterday, but internet service went down, so you get it now. : P

Yeah, though you can optionally shuffle them back and forth as needed. For example, if you just got a new game and expect to be playing it a lot, you might put it on the SSD to get the best load times, but some weeks later when you aren't playing it much and want to free up room on your SSD for something else, you could just move it to the other drive.

As for the best size for an SSD, it could vary depending on your needs, the size of the games you want to keep installed on the drive and how much money you're willing to spend. A 250GB SSD might be a little cramped for some of the newer and upcoming games, which in some cases can be quite large. The recently released Final Fantasy XV, as an extreme example, is around 100GB, and around 150GB total should one choose to install the optional high-resolution texture pack. And there are a handful of other games with install sizes around 100GB as well. Most are significantly less than that though, and many older games and indie titles are just a few gigabytes or less. I think an SSD around 500GB in size should be a relatively comfortable capacity to work with for one's OS and actively played games, though many could probably get away with 250GB as well, though it will likely require more moving things around.
