Hey,
So I have been downstairs playing on my PS4 all day. Last night I used my computer and it was perfectly fine. No issues whatsoever.
I go upstairs to my room and my monitors are black. No signal and no response when I move my mouse or click on my keyboard.
I reboot the system and the same issue occurs. The system doesn’t boot, I just get nothing on my screen.
I look at my motherboard and I see the GPU error light come on. I begin troubleshooting and realize the GPU is receiving power (the LED on the GPU comes on) but the GPU just isn’t receiving or sending a signal.
I go downstairs, grab my old R6 200x and throw it in there. And it works just fine.
I’ve only had this card for two years, haven’t crypto mined on it, etc. so it just feels really odd that a card like this can brick in 2 years.
Can someone just let me know if it is possible I’m missing something or if my suspicions are correct and I need a new card.
Thanks!
