Hello! I just wanna ask for suggestions, feedbacks or constructive criticisms. I have just finished building my budget rig, but I am still using an old VGA Fujitsu 19" 1366x768 reso monitor (idk what or how many hz tho). My build:

Pentium G4600
MSI H110M Pro V-H Plus
MSI GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4G
Kingston Hyper X 2133 8gb ddr4
SeaSonic M12ii 520W EVO psu

I want to know if I can go for a 1080 monitor to maximize my gaming experience or if I'm good with my old one. Thanks!

Sir zoltan.boese, I've just finished my build but there's this group I am in that debates on monitors which I don't get. Those with 1080p 60 hz 144hz, the sort. What would maximize my rig? Sorry, noobie here. But thank you for the answer.

Does your question concern Resolution (1920x1080 pixels) or refresh rate (60Hz versus 120-144Hz) ?
If it is resolution, you can get a 1920x1080 monitor.
If you want to play games with more than 60Hz, it really depends on the game. You can play Leage of Legends with your 1050ti at 144 frames per second, but Witcher 3 or GTA V for example would run with 40-50fps.

If you want to play e-sports games and fast pace shooters higher refresh rate is reasonable. Otherwise stick to 60Hz.

That's what confuses me sir, the hz. I mostly plan on FPS games (PUBG, Fortnite, H1Z1), and if I'm bored would play League. The reso and the hz. I'm so sorry if I don't explain thoroughly my point.

I have a simpler answer, technology is catching up to a point where a difference screen resolution is almost imperceivable at the highest settings while gaming, basically your eyes cant keep up or tell the difference unless you play the same thing religiously and know every detail. It also means that quality is becoming more affordable, LG has a lot of options that fall well into 'budget' territory. I got one of their 1920x1080 32" monitors on Amazon for $199, super cheap for one of that size, i would suggest looking around at your local tech dealers to see what kind of monitors they have running on display, if you see one you like find the least expensive option with similar specs, or if you prefer your old monitor, keep it.
