I am needing advise to extend my wifi to outside using the same SSID. I will be using an Ethernet jack from a nearby bedroom that has POE to power up the equipment. I will be installing under a soffit, so what exact model of equipment would you say would work for me? Thank you.

It's best to purchase a system that supports multiple APs. Extenders typically setup a parallel network (MYWIFI and MYWIFI2). The more basic the system is to setup, the less chance that it has a PoE option. But you could use something like Google Wifi and a PoE to USB to USB C adapter.

I haven't tried this, but it should work... (You also would want to purchase an all weather enclosure if your placing an indoor AP outside).

Maybe someone else knows if one of the other multi-wifi kits has a POE AP included. All the ones I've seen plug into the wall directly or have a power adapter.

Also, in general, Outdoor APs are either sold as extenders or used with enterprise controllers. Again, there may be something on the market I'm not aware of, but I'd look to use a multi-unit indoor kit with an outdoor all weather enclosure.
