I just received parts for my new build. I have an AMD Ryzen 2400g for my processor and graphics. I did a test build and the pc won't boot. The cpu fan spins but the pc just doesn't boot. My mobo is ryzen 2000 series ready and I grounded myself before starting. The "smart" fan controller in the NZXT H200i doesnt seem to work (power is plugged into psu) and the case fans won't spin (fans are connected to the controller)

Edit: fan controller works

Parts
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 2400g
Mobo: AsRock Fatl1ty b350 mini itx
Ram: 16gb (2x8gb) G.Skill Ripjaws
Psu : Corsair cx 650
Case: NZXT H200i

Are you sure the BIOS in your motherboard has been updated to a version that will recognize and initialize a Ryzen APU? If not try taking the board back to your vendor to see if they'll update for you. Alternatively, AMD will ship you a Ryzen CPU to update the BIOS...it will take a little time and you'll have to return it of course.

If you're sure the BIOS is latest, remove the mobo from the case and set it up in a 'test bench' arrangement on a non-conductive surface. It's amazing how many errors are injected just by installation in a case so knowing it works out of case helps narrow down what to look for.

Remove any unnecessary add-in cards or drives; should be easy since you've an APU so no discrete GPU is necessary.

Try one stick of memory at a time in each of the memory slots.

My money's on your mobo BIOS not being latest though. Good luck.

I already did everything you said including the test bench as I have already stated in the original post. The mobo is "RYZEN 2000 SERIES READY". I do not think that AsRock sent me a motherboard that didnt have an updated bios even tho the mobo has the sticker on the box. I saw that in a different post that all ryzen 2000 series ready mobo were released the day of or after the apu launch.
