So this is the first time I'm building a Gaming PC, and I do not have vast knowledge about Computers. I did a bit of research, asked people for help online, but never got precise answers. So here I am. This is the Gaming PCbuild;

CPU: Intel Core i3-8100

Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming Plus ATX

GPU: Asus Expedition GTX 1050 Ti OC 4gb

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LXP 8GB (1 x 8gb)

HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB - reusing from my current PC.

PSU: Corsair CX550 80+

SSD: Kingston 120GB SATA 3 SSD

These are the current components in my budget. I had initially listed the Intel Core i5-8400 but was told it might create a Bottleneck with the GPU. So I was suggested the Intel Core i3-8100 which has the same performance as the Intel Core i5-7400

■ So is it true that the Intel Core i3-8100 won't cause any bottlenecks with the GPU and run games such as PUGB, GTA V smoothly?

I know the 1050 Ti GPU is weak, but the better models are quite expensive and out of my budget.

■ Is Dual Channel better than Single Channel RAM? The Price for Dual Channel is higher.

And,

Do you think my over-all build is good for Moderate Gaming? I'm not an avid gamer and do not want extraordinary performance.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and help me out!

Dual channel ram is always "better"
The difference between 1 x 8gb stick and 2 x 4 gb sticks of the exact same ram in price will be extremely small compared to the overall build cost.
Unless the plan is to add a second identical stick later for 16 gb total?

A 1050ti is actually a pretty decent gpu for 1080p, as long as you don't expect miracles.

That's a pretty solid build in today's overpriced market.

And PUBG is an unoptimized mess. But you should get solidly playable fps at 1080p with some settings tweaking.

But I read somewhere that Dual Channel is better in benchmark results, when compared to Single Channel. In Real you won't really notice it.

And now that I think about it, yeah I might, sometime in a future add an additional 8GB.

Thank you for the response!
