Using external hard drive as internal

I have an old Transcend Storejet 320GB external hard drive. I managed to remove all the casing and now I want to use it as an internal hard drive on my desktop PC since I have a spare slot left. Would it be a good idea to do so? It seems to have all the right SATA connectors. There doesn't seem to be any way to screw it into my hard drive bay, would it be safe to tape it over the tray and use it?
Thank you. http://imgur.com/Tr8NrRP

If it has regular SATA connections, it will probably work.

Mounting?
This is a 2.5" drive? Most recent cases have 1 or more dedicated 2.5" drive mounts.
Failing that, a 2.5" - 3.5" adapter plate. Maybe $6.

Thanks for the response. It was a 2.5" drive. I managed to fit it in and I made all the connections, but when my PC booted the keyboard and mouse would not respond. The monitor took a little longer to kick in as well. I'm disconnecting the hard drive right now and trying to see if I can get my keyboard/mouse to work again.
